**Harmony High School is an "A" school**

High school grades for the 2010-2011 school year were released by the state on Wednesday, January 4 and the news was great for Harmony High School! We received our first "A" in school history! Congratulations Longhorns!!!

**New Guidance Counselor Assignments**

Guidance couselors are no longer assigned to students by grade level. Counselors are now assigned by the student's last name. Below are the new counselor assignments:

Ken Blancett - students with last name A-EG

Suzanne Rummel - students with last name El-Lat

Megan Fellows - students with last name Lau-Ri

Alana Pacheco - students with last name Ro-Z

 Announcements

  • On Saturday, January 28, Harmony High School ROTC will be hosting Painting for a Purpose. Bernie Oropallo, a certified Bob Ross instructor will be teaching 3 different art sessions at Harmony High. The cost is $50.00 per session which includes materials. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. Please click here for more information.


  • Athletic Letterman Jacket orders are being taken from January 10 to February 10 in the Athletic office. The cost is $145.00 and must be paid for when ordering. If paying by check you must have your drivers license number written on the check.


  • Longhorn Players present Lucky Stiff on March 1-3 at 7pm in the HHS Auditorium. Tickets will be $10 for adults, $7.00 for students and $5.00 for children 5 and under. Come see Harry and Rita attempt to inherit Tony's will of 6 million dollars while they wheel his dead body from Jersey to Monte Carlo to fulfill his last wishes. Comedy and Intrigue will make you laugh and wonder.
